Magic comes to The Loveland Feed & Grain in October!

For the first time ever, The Loveland Feed & Grain will play host to an interactive magic show through a program called Arts @ The Feed & Grain. Arts @ The Feed & Grain is committed to bringing programs that support innovative art experiences of all disciplines working in the avant-garde.

Arts @ the Feed & Grain" is funded in part by ArtPlace America, a national creative placemaking program, sponsored by the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, and by the National Endowment for the Arts' Our Town program. Art Works.

On October 18, 2013 – Dan Jaspersen of Magician@Play will debut an all-new magic show called Keeper of Secrets in the east gallery of the Feed & Grain. Jaspersen recently showed at the Rialto in Loveland for the 2nd Annual TedX event last May. This month he will return to Loveland again and delight his audience with his uniquely blended background in magic, linguistics, psychology, juggling, traditional and experimental theater. Jaspersen transcends the traditional definition of "magician." His genuine passion and appreciation for creating powerful magic resonates with a variety of audiences, earning him standing ovations everywhere from international festivals in Japan and Brazil, to the 4-H National Roundup, to Colorado State University and various TEDx events.

For Keeper of Secrets, Jaspersen reaches back into the depths of magic history to mesh the arcane with the modern. Throughout history, magicians have sought, guarded, stolen and exploited secret knowledge. The true secrets of making magic have little to do with sleight-of-hand and special apparatus, but rather the man himself; the Keeper of Secrets, Daniel Jaspersen.
